Success in a direct sales business often hinges on whether you link up with the best team or not. If you are not in the right team, it can make any efforts at success unproductive. I have seen through my own eyes that with a powerful opportunity in a lucrative business, joining the right team that similar principles, goals and an effective system in place WILL lead to an EMPOWERED business relationship. This can go two ways, either you have an upline that is supporting you with their leadership, or YOU are the upline, and your downline is relying on your guidance.
So, what should you be looking for when comparing teams to sign up with?
Pay attention to this imperative network marketing tip... These are the attributes I deem make up a quality team:
-The team has motivated leaders who are empowered and productive mentors and can teach others who join how to become leaders themselves. This makes for an organization that can duplicate itself consistantly. The team's leaders make themselves exceedingly available. This can be in the form of giving out their phone number so that you can call
them, or by organizing weekly trainings that you can plug into on the assorted ways to run your business. You should have at least two people in your immediate upline's phone numbers and build a personal relationship with them.
-The leaders have a well-built enough downline or organization that you know they are practicing what they are preaching. Seeing as duplication is key, you want to see that they can really teach you that duplication, and that their style of sponsoring in fact works. Now this does not suggest you have to be sponsored by a person who already has a huge downline, this just means you need to make sure that your sponsor is part of a group that has leaders with real accomplishment already materialized.
-Any perfect team in my opinion MUST have a system set up that any person can plug into and can receive the training and tools needed to make real businesses with real marketing techniques. In this day and age, that means techniques for time-honored networking, AND systems for online marketing with a marketing funnel. This also insures that you are not required to gang up on relatives and friends or do any cold calls that you do not want to do!
-There should be set up weekly meetings, teleconferences and webinars aimed at introducing the business to fresh prospects. These weekly sales tools should be available to everyone, and they are central not only for you to be able to introduce people to the opportunity, but also for you to pay attention and study how to generate an effective presentation yourself. These also strengthen the values of the group and the mindset that an individual must uphold to be successful in this business.
-The group leaders are accessible to do 3 way meetings with you, whether that be in the flesh, on the telephone, or online. This is a vastly imperative tool for you to utilize to answer the questions your prospects ask about the business that you are not confident to answer suitably yourself. If you are just starting out in network marketing, you should be taking advantage of this tactic exclusively for introducing people to the opportunity, and not doing it without training!
These 6 factors of a quality team are very valuable ingredients to your success. This is appropriate for ANY network marketing company that exists. So if you are currently involved in a network marketing company, evaluate the team you are with, and see if they are living up to all these elements for a truly quality team. If they aren't, and you aren't achieving the kind of success you personally are searching for, it could be time to make a change.
Make sure you team up with people who will truly help you make an unstoppable organization in your company. And if you can not locate them, then perhaps you should to ESTABLISH that team yourself! Follow the guidelines above and you will develop your business at a phenomenal pace because of the team unison you will establish.
